Silkie Chicken
The Silkie is a breed of chicken named for its atypically fluffy plumage, which is said to feel like silk and satin. The bird is well known for its dark colouring, lean meat, and duck-like flavour which makes it perfect for making soups and sauces.

Traditionally raised for meat in China, the Yellow-feathered chicken is a flavourful bird with less fat and more meat. Like a turkey, this bird takes longer to cook but its crispy skin and smooth, tender meat makes the extra time worth it.
